Playful Creators
Grades 1-4 Saturdays, April 2-May 28 1:00-4:00pm
9 weeks
Participants will play and engage with the environment through a variety of creative mediums. Children will pretend, create, imagine and tell stories using the inspiration of their natural surroundings, each other, and other creative materials.
Neighborhood Explorers
Grades 3+4 Thursdays, March 31-May 26 3:30-5:30pm
8 weeks (No session April 21)
Each week Neighborhood Explorers explore the area through a neighborhood hike to a playful location. While walking, participants develop their observation, direction and map reading skills. At each play location, children participate in unstructured adventurous, imaginative and creative play.
Playful Drop In Fridays
If you are looking to play occasionally, join us on the days that work for you. Kids will explore, discover and play outside together in a small group as spring emerges all around.

Playful Saturday Workshops
The drop off workshops will meet at different locations and introduce different ways to engage with the outdoors or each other. Each workshop will allow time for exploration and creative unstructured play in small groups as well.
Grades 1-5
April 23 Theatre Games 1:30-4:30pm
Join us to explore and experience some improv exercises, character creation and more.
April 30 Birding/Nature Journaling 9am-1pm
Look and listen for birds on this playful nature walk. A notebook and pencil will be provided to record your experiences.
May 21 Field Games 1:30-4:30pm
Learn to play some old-fashioned outdoor games. Bring your own game suggestions as well.
June 4 Storytelling 9am-12pm
While exploring this location, kids will discuss the elements of telling or writing a great story. A notebook and pencil will be provided.
Sensory Explorers - New Spring Theme!
Grades 1-4 Tuesdays March 29-May 24 3:30-5:15pm
8 weeks (No session April 19) - FULL
Sensory Explorers will participate in unstructured play and explore outside, with a focus on engaging all of their senses. Children will see, hear, smell, taste and touch the wonderful new life that arrives each spring. In addition, children will also be given specific playful opportunities to engage their proprioception and vestibular senses.
